Kirriemuir

Undoubtedly the most popular hotel in Kirriemuir, The Airlie Arms Hotel nestles quietly right in the centre of this rather quaint, picturesque and vibrant Angus town, best known both as the 'Little Red Town' in view of the very predominant and attractive red brick stonework of many of the local houses and properties - and as the birthplace of J M Barrie and hence Peter Pan.

• The James Braid designed local Kirriemuir Golf Course - a real gem. Not to mention some rather well known local area courses such as Carnoustie and the excellent open championship qualifiers at Monifeith, Panmure and Downfield.
